It is with deep regret that we have learned today of the recent death of the former Club President, Brian East who sadly passed away on Friday.

We at the Supporters Club would like to pass on our condolences to his brother John, family and everybody who knew Brian.

Brian, John and their dad Barry had been involved with the club since the early days of Dagenham and Redbridge and before that with Leytonstone then Leytonstone and Ilford through the merger with Walthamstow Avenue to become Redbridge Forest.

Brian together with his brother John, very kindly sponsored the Supporters Club golden goal tickets for many years. Brian always had time to talk to supporters and was also happy to advise on any Supporters Club matters when required. Brian was also a life gold member of the Supporters Club.

Brian was a very kind and caring person and will be missed by everyone at the Supporters Club
